About Me

Hi, I'm Maegan Addison, CPDT-KA, founder of West Coast Wags!

I'm so excited to bring this adventure bus experience to the dogs (and people!) of Monterey.

It has been my dream to start something like this for a very long time. With my background in dog training and animal care, I knew I wanted to create a fun and safe service that I would feel comfortable sending my own dog to. Phoebe is my 9 year old border collie lab mix, and she is a huge inspiration and such a large part of why I wanted to work with animals. We love walking the trails and going to the beach, and her favorite activity is searching / waiting patiently for the ground squirrels.

As far as my professional background goes, I've worked as a positive reinforcement trainer for the last 8 years and have previously managed a large dog resort. Along the way, I've earned my CPDT-KA certification, became Pet CPR Certified, and completed many additional certifications focused on dog body language, behavior, and safely managing group play.

My goal is to create an experience that's not only fun for the dogs, but one that alleviates any and all worries from the pet parents as well.

My goal is simple:

To send every dog home happier, more fulfilled, and excited for their next adventure!

I can't wait to meet you and your pup!

Sincerely,

Maegan Addison, CPDT-KA
